Bought this for husband who was not happy with Fitbit Charge 3 because clock face was too dark to read the time. He is very happy with this new one.

I’ve had no issues so far. Updates for the charge 5 will be in late November? Will write another review if anything changes.

I’m new to having a FitBit and I’ve falling in love with it. For me it’s exactly what I need measuring my heart rate and steps per day. I had an Apple Watch for two days and returned it prior to this. I absolutely love it and what we purchase again.

I bought this after having a Samsung smartwatch that after over a year cannot stay charged and is way too big for my wrist. I like the size of this, it's comfortable on my small wrist. I think I wore it for about a week or so before I had to charge it again. I really like the Fitbit app as well. I'm starting to track more things in it such as my weight and food I eat each day. I was using myfitness pal before, which kept crashing on my phone. So far I am very happy with this.

Comfortable to wear. Functions as intended. You cannot control your music from the Charge 5 like competitor brands. It also doesn't "talk" to you like a certain competitor brand when you're engaged in physical activity. Set up took less than 10 minutes. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Unlike my charge 3, I can read the charge 5 screen in the sunlight which is why I bought the charge 5. Unlike another reviewer, I have had no problem with the battery life. I’m wondering if the other reviewer has the display set up to be always on. I am using the small band but was using either the last or next to the last hole. But large band was too large. However, I also bought a small sports band. So if you are like me, almost between the small and large bands, the small sports band will work fine.

I have had an overall good experience with this Fitbit. For context, this was an upgrade for me from an Inspire that was several years old. I like that this Fitbit is an in-between from the ultra-basic step trackers and full-on smartwatches (for me a smartwatch face is too large, with too many features, and too pricy for what I want). All I wanted is a mid-range Fitbit that gives me good step tracking and heart rate tracking, and that is what I got. I’d say the notifications functions on this are not perfect, but good enough for me as I don’t like checking my phone compulsively outside of what I need for work anyway. I’d say it tracks my HR best when I’m on my bike and my hand position isn’t changing much, it doesn’t seem to track quite as well when I’m lifting weights, but that could be me not being as observant of it when I’m lifting. I get roughly just under a week of charge on this when I don’t remember to charge it regularly. Overall I’d say it was worth it at a sale price, not sure I’d pay the full price on this one.
