The Dirt Devil Steam Mop was very easy to assemble, even though I didn't have to read the directions, I made sure to consult them. It came with a small bottle of the Dirt Devil steam water which was easy to put into the tank with the included funnel. Once you have the steam water in place, the mop heats up and is ready to use in less than a minute. The non-carpeted portion of my house is a combination of vinyl and laminate flooring so I was definately excited to use this steam mop. I There are three modes of low, medium and high. Once the mop was ready to use, I opted to use the medium mode. The initial first push of the mop felt like it was stuck just a but as I continued to use the mop on the vinyl it became smoother and easier. The included steam water had a pleasant fresh scent. Due to this being a steam mop, the floors dries extremely quickly. I then switched over to the laminate floors and changed into the high mode since there were some areas of the floor that had some small sticky messes thanks for the kids being home for the summer. I was able to clean up the soiled areas of the floor by only having to go over the areas twice. I didn't have to use any harder strokes of the mop, it was pretty effortless on my part. Once I was done with the floors, there was still a decent amount of water in the tank. The moment of truth was definately when I was removing the cleaning pad on the bottom of the mop. The pad it basically held on by velcro and was relatively easy to remove. I was really surprised the amount of dirt it had taken off the floor. I just threw the pad in the washer and then laid flat to dry to reuse again. Overall I was pleased with this steam mop for it's easy of use, simple maintenance and superior cleaning power. It doesn't seem like you can easily buy the Dirt Devil Steam Water in any local store but you can use water (demineralized is recommended). So that would really be the only con is that the Dirt Devil steam water is not easy purchased at local retailers. However, I am thankful that I had added the Dirt Devil Steam Mop to my cleaning arsenal.

Love using the Dirt Devil Steam Mop. It is so easy to use! It even came with a small bottle of steam water which was great! I would normally have just used bottled water to clean, but the steam water added an extra clean smell bonus! I will definitely be investing in more of the steam water to use in the steam mop. It heats up quickly so there is no waiting around to get your cleaning done. I used the Dirt Devil Steam Mop on my ceramic tiled floors on the high setting and dropped it to a lower setting to even use on my hardwood floors. My house really does feel and smell cleaner after using this. It is definitely something I will be including into my weekly cleaning. Being so easy to use I don't have to wait for the monthly deep cleaning to get it out. It is also fairly compact so it stores very easily in my broom closet.

I was super impressed by this steam mop. First it was super easy to assemble, I didn't even need the instructions. It heats up really fast and I barley had to put any elbow grease into it, it glided to nice across the floor. Also, my floors dried super fast.

The steam mop was so easy to assemble and use. It makes my floors feel much cleaner compared to other mops I've used. The pads are nice and durable. I also liked the length of the cord. I didn't have to unplug and plug too often around my house which was really nice. I definitely would recommend.

Wow! This lightweight steam mop does some major cleaning. I have 2 dogs, 1 large and 1 small and they trek in all kinds of dirt onto my tile flooring. This did a great job in removing stuck on and everyday dirt. It was very easy to understand the instructions, which you don't really need except maybe for reference, because it's so easy to put it together. It comes with a small bottle of Dirt Devul steam water and was very easy to put into the steam mop with the included funnel. Once the steam water has been added, the steam mop is ready to go within a couple minutes. I used the high setting because of my dogs, but there is a low and medium setting for not so hard to clean areas. When you first start to clean, it gives a little pull but once the steam water makes it to the included cleaning pads, it was very easy to clean. The steam water has a pleasant scent that you can smell as you clean. The cleaning pads attach with velcro and when I was done cleaning, they were very easy to remove. The floors dry extremely fast, leaving behind a nice shine. I was really surprised when I removed the pads to see just how much dirt was on my floor. The pad is machine washable and all of the dirt came out of it. I laid it out flat to dry. Overall, I love this thing. It has given me so much more time in my day that would have otherwise been spent mopping with a conventional mop and bucket. I would highly recommend this and would also purchase this as a gift for others because of it's effortless cleaning.

Very easy to put together. Very lightweight and easy to use. Did a great job cleaning my floors

My floors can't take a lot of heat or a lot of water. This steam mop works great BUT I do have to go back over it with a towel attached to a swiffer BUT the water comes up with a couple of swipes with the towel. If no water was left behind, the moo would be too hot for my floor. Bonus, this slides under beds. I spray Windex Multipurpose spray first, use the mop and swipe a couple of times with a towel. works great and grime comes off. Not looking to buy a $700 steam mop system so this is working great for me.

I love that the steam mop doesn't feel super flimsy. It swivels really nicely when I need it to do so. I also love that the pad is reusable and machine washable. It's an eco friendly alternative to constantly disposable pads

I have laminent flooring in my whole house. It is great long term but is bad about spills sticking to it or when it rains, spotting. I had a bigger steam cleaner but I have had some health problems and it was just too heavy to use. This product is much lighter in weight I also like the water compartment being removable. My old unit had a cup and you had to pour water into the actual unit. This one has the removable cup and I prefer that This way, you can be sure there is no water left inside. I also like the way the cleaning pads attched. My old unit required the pads be stretched over the cleaning head and once those were washed, that became difficult This one just has velcro and that works great. My only coplaint is that it won't stand on its own, so thats a little annoying.

bissel steam mop works great on tile, lino, and laminate floors. lightweight and easily maneuverable. the fact that you can also just toss the pads into the washer is great. i rinse mine out in the sink before i toss them into the washer though.
